Less than an hour ago he was still there!
He and mum were eating in the nest,
he fed himself.
I can't believe it!

That was it...he learned to feed himself!
Now we can fly.

Maybe he will come back.

One of the members of our forum (Roosje) received the following mail from Spain:

herewith the video and a picture of the chick leaving the nest. As you will see, the flight was not as successful as it should have been. In fact it seems that the chick dropped from the nest. But the guards saw him flying over the park on tuesday, and his parents were also feeding him.

So we don't have to worry about the chick. He is doing well, and learning to cath prays until he leaves the area of the Park of Garraf.

We still don't have blood results (bllod test is done far from here, and we don't have it).

Hi,
One of our users (Roosje) is having contact with Spain about this nest.
They told us that the youngster of last year has left the parc, which is normal.
But the male is also not seen anymore.
They are hoping that the female will find another male soon.
Probably because of that there is no activity in the nest of last year.
But there are 2 other nests in the parc.
The cam of nest B (which we used to track last year) has been moved to nest C which already shows some activity. What is visible at the cam at the moment is nest A, which was unsuccesful last year.

This is the message we received from Spain

In the Park of Garraf there are 3 nests. Last year we had two cams which showed two of the nests (we call them A and B) but only the B one succeded. There was no connection to the nest C.

Unfortunately, these year eagles has not been fixing nest B, and the camera has been swicth off. Now the nest you can see is the A one.

As two the C nest we have good news. Eagles are fixing the nest, and we are preparing the connection. As soon as we have images we'll tell you.

As to the sound, maybe something wrong happened with transmition, but this nest has sound and night view as well.
