Das sie den Körper untersuchen ist ok,es hilft sicher späteren Generationen.Aber das sie den Todeskampf nochmal als Video senden finde ich grausam.Ich habe es gestern schon live angesehen.Am besten bis nächstes Jahr abschalten.

Hab gerade ein ziemliches Wechselbad der Gefühle hinter mir, so wie es euch wohl auch vorhin gegangen ist...
Hab die Cam eingeschaltet und das Küken ganz lebendig gesehen - gedacht, das kann wohl nicht sein - und dann erst hier nachgelesen, dass es sich um eine Aufzeichnung handelt.
Vom 1.4. kann das Video allerdings nicht sein. Mit dem Dunkelwerden war das Küken nämlich noch ganz munter. Man kann sich also das Video ganz beruhigt anschauen, es ist nichts schlimmes zu sehen.

That is true, at least that the young one died yesterday evening.
But the cam is NOT switched off.

Today around 15.00 they removed the dead chick.
But surprisingly they replaced it with another one.

One of our members had contact with Spain, and they told us that
they have moved a chick from another nest (nearby) to this one.
The other nest every year has problems in raising their chick(s)
I expect that nest had more than one chick, and that they have removed one of them.
Giving both nest the best chances.

It took more than 2 hours before the mother came to the nest, but when she arrived,
she almost immediately started feeding her new chick.

Thank you very much for this information!
That explains a lot.
I couldn't really believe it is a recording because the age of the chick didn't fit.
But on the other hand I couldn't believe the chick is still alive.
So it was a great mystery.

I hope that all goes well for this chick now!

Ich hoffe, mit dem nun ins Nest gesetzten Küken geht alles gut und es wächst zu einem gesunden Adler heran!

danke nina,
wieder für die vorwarnung. ich wünsche den eltern mit
ihrem neuem kleinenalles glück der welt!
ich muß das aber erstmal verdauen und sortieren-dadurch dass
ich den kleinen die ersten tage so intensiv miterleben durfte,
ist er mir sehr ans herz gewachsen dann passiert das unfaßbare
und nun sitzt ein neues küken drin.
sorry,ich schreibe vielleicht blödsinn
aber ich bin nun mal ein echtes sensibelchen
-ich laß' es jetzt auch lieber ,ist noch früh am morgen.
