Good morning,
the time has come to say good bye, farewell and all the best.
Not only for the storks, also for all of you.
Cico and Luna did a great job to raise the chicks.
The circumstances were really difficlt this year.
I really hope to see you all here next year.
And I hope you all do well during the winter.
Please take care everyone.
One was in the nest this morning, maybe a young stork.

Good evening,
I think, it is one of the youngsters in the nest.
At the moment we have more than 40 storks here in my area.
It is a big nature spectacle. The weather is not good enough to fly to the south.
Most of them are young storks.
Here I have a video of today. There are about 20 storks on the meadow.

I wonder, when they will fly further to the south.
Things like this are happening now also around Vetschau.

Great video Doris
How wonderful to be able to see the young storks after they leave the nest and before they start their migration. Looked like they were testing their strength...amazing that their instincts will take them on such a long, strenuous journey.
Thanks to all who visited the English Forum this year. Hope everyone has a wonderful Fall and Winter and plan to see you back here next Spring.
Best Wishes

Luna returned to the nest and some minutes later they did a bit bonding.
