Translation with Google Translator

"Storch center" write
Stork family complete

4 hatched chicks make "our"internet family of storks in Vetschau complete. Am 21.05. is the last chick hatched.
With the rearing of chicks, the storks have to do a lot now, in order to provide it with food. Warm humid weather would be the best way to ensure an adequate food supply. One of the adult storks always stays at the nest and the other flies in search of food. The parent storks care lovingly for their children
In most regions of Germany are the storks no longer enough food. Regularly starve young ones or the parent storks raise young from the nest. Storks need a varied landscape with structured copses, ponds, permanent pasture. Particularly damaging are the effects of intensive agriculture with the use of drugs or genetically modified plants.
For visitors to the White Stork NABU Information Centre is now beginning the exciting phase. You can watch the rearing by camera on the screen on the ground. Also available online at www.storchennest.de a look at the stork nursery is possible.
NABU Regional Association Calau eV would give the chicks name. To this end, all children and Storch fans called to make suggestions to.
The White Stork Information Center in the NL Vetschau, Drebkau Str 2a, is open daily except Mondays from 10 to 17 clock. Various exhibitions give an insight into the lives of white storks and the necessary protective measures.

Hello biggi44,
The video says "private", so I can't watch it without signing in. The links to all of Doris', Tina's and others videos have always gone directly to the video site :? :?
I'd like to watch the video to see if #4 is getting its share of food.
Thank you for your posting of the Stork Center message :D

One of the babies is not under parent's body or wing  Isn't it almost night time and would be getting cold :!:
Finally parent stood up and moved so all chicks are covered again.

Hi Cheral, perhaps you saw the feeding some minutes ago.

Yes Doris, I did watch that feeding....and it was upsetting to see the 'little one' behind the other three and not be able to get to the food. He finally got around to the side but I don't think he got his fair share. :( I know he needs to catch up in size and strength to the others.

It will be difficult for him to enforce against his siblings. The other problem is the parents bring more bigger pieces of food. Perhaps to big for the little one. :?
We must keep all fingers crossed.
The other problem is the dry weather at the moment.
But maybe they will get rain tomorrow in Vetschau.
