Ich habe heute auch nochmal gelesen und geschaut. Den Kids geht es sehr gut. 3 sind raus aus dem Nistkasten und Flieglaufen oben auf dem Turm herum. Einer war noch nicht draußen und traut sich irgendwie noch nicht.

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, war wohl ein Kabel locker oder Stecker nicht richtig verbunden.

Der Kleinste im Nistkasten wird wirklich sehr hart erzogen. Die drei draußen haben leckere Taube bekommen. Der Kleine im Kasten hat den ganzen Tag nichts bekommen. Er hat schrecklich geschrien. Ist aber nicht rausgekommen und hat daher auch nichts zu essen bekommen. Harte Sitten bei Familie Wanderfalke.
S2 bringt eine große Taube:

Hallo allen im Forum, danke für die vielen Berichte auch über die Winterzeit.
Ich melde mich kurz nach der Winterruhe und kurz vor der neuen Brutsaison zurück und will das Neueste berichten.
Pa und S2 sind gut durch den Winter gekommen. Die Balz ist in vollem Gange. Beide sind immer öfter am Brutkasten anzutreffen. Ziemlich sicher zwischen 7 und 8 Uhr morgens.
Die Webcambilder sind - nach vielem hin und her während des Winters -
im Moment stabil.
Es ist geplant - nach vielen Verhandlungen - Live-Video bei "Beleef de Lente". Das wäre super, wenn das tatsächlich klappt. Video mit Ton ist einfach viel schöner als einfach nur Bilder.
Ich freue mich jedenfalls auf eine schöne Video-Saison für 2009. Geplanter Start ist Anfang März.

Ja, bei den Störchen in Den Haag sind beide schon anwesend, bei den Turmfalken sind die Tauben aktiv, bei den Steinkäuzen war auch schon jemand daheim. Bei Beleef de Lente ist immer so viel, da weiß man gar nicht, wo man zuerst schauen soll.
Hier die Geschichte des Nestes auf Englisch (von der niederländischen Seite kopiert):
In the winter of 2004-2005 members of the Vogel Werkgroep Gemert observed a peregrine falcon couple around the communication tower in De Mortel, The Netherlands. A very special observation since this bird of prey is an endangered and almost extinct species in the Netherlands.
It was soon discovered that the male had been banded in Germany, the female, unbanded. The couple clearly was attracted to the 130 meter’s high tower. However, there was no suitable and safe place to nest and bring up eyases. The Vogel Werkgroep Gemert decided to build a nestbox and obtained permission from the owner of the tower, KPN, to place the box on the roof of the tower.
The peregrine falcon couple almost immediately moved in. In March 2005 the female laid two eggs. There was much excitement when both eggs hatched. This was so unique that a webcam was placed in the nestbox. The live streaming was hosted by KPN Planet. The two eyases, May and June, grew up healthy and fledged safely.
In the following year, 2006, the female, Ma, laid 4 eggs which all hatched. The male, Pa, proved to be an excellent provider who brought a lot of prey to his hungry eyases. KPN placed a second cam outside the nestbox so everybody could watch the juveniles play on the ledge and eventually fledge. They were named Pili, Tua, Dos and Dua. It was very clear that Pa and Ma were here to stay. The tower and the area around it was their territory. After two years they had gathered a worldwide audience of people who loved this couple and the wonderful footage of this beautiful location. Everybody was looking forward for the next season.
In 2007, live streaming began early. Ma laid 3 eggs. However, during the brooding phase, an intruder appeared. Both Ma and Pa valiantly tried to chase her away, but failed. The 3 eggs hatched, but the intruder was still around. Things were bound to escalate...and did. Ma and the intruder engaged in a serious territorial battle in which Ma was killed. Everyone was devastated!
Pa, however, continued to feed his eyases. But S2, the intruder, took all prey away. She interpreted it as courtship prey. She did not understand that she was causing harm to the eyases. She acted instinctively. As a result, one of the eyases died of hunger. But S2 finally learned! On Mother’s Day she started feeding the two eyases and took over from Pa. A few weeks later Hope and Faith fledged safely from the tower. All’s Well That Ends Well!
The events of this season made the bond with these falcons even stronger. Many people gathered daily at the foot of the tower to watch the juveniles play and proud parents (Pa and S2) supervise.
In early 2008, KPN, however, announced that live streaming would cease. A group of volunteers close to the webcams started to find new sponsors. The new owner of the tower, Alticom , was very enthusiastic and wanted to cooperate. They financed the webcam and asked one of their customers (InterNl.net)to join the project.
InterNL.net placed transmission equipment and hardware at the disposal of the webcams, installed and optimized the systems hardware configuration to achieve maximum performance. Images of the webcams were and will be transmitted by the server of InterNL. The Eco-Touristfarm De Biezen in De Mortel was very generous to place their ADSL to the disposal of the webcams.
In the meantime, S2 officially became a mother for the first time. She laid four eggs which would later hatch into four strong and healthy eyases. The 2008 season was a wonderful one, with two very attentive parents and four vibrant juveniles that fledged successfully! The public named them: Nero, Noor, Naud and Nina. The juveniles left the Tower in august to start their own life.
Fundraising made it possible to buy better and newer up to date technology for broadcasting streaming media. Technical support and maintenance of the webcams and equipment is done by Roel Zwiers. The Highschool Commanderij College in Gemert made their Fiber-optic communication available which ensured that live streaming was possible again.
In the fall of 2008 Froona Veldhuis announced wonderful news for the 2009 season. Live streaming of the peregrine couple on the tower will be hosted by the Vogelbescherming Nederland, Dutch Bird Protection Association. The stream will be hosted on "Beleef de Lente". A major breakthrough! In the meantime the refreshimages hosted by InterNl.net will continue all year through on this website.
So the story of these special peregrine falcons of De Mortel will continue. Live streaming will be available for everyone once again. Hier ist die Balz im vollsten Gange. Beide sind immer öfter am Nest zu sehen. Es gibt regelmäßig Beutegeschenke von Pa an seine S2. Ausführliche Liebesgespräche im Nistkasten. Und die beiden Nistkuhlen werden regelmäßig verbessert.

Pa und S2 haben gemeinsam eine Taube geschlagen. S2 trägt die Taube zum Toren. Sie rupft und frißt. Pa kommt dazu und beide fressen gemeinsam, streiten, und Pa wird sogar gefüttert.

Ich finde, die kleine Mühe lohnt sich wirklich.
Langsam wird es hier auch spannend, was das Eierlegen angeht.
S2 war heute sehr viel im und am Nistkasten. Sie sitzt jetzt im Dunklen immer noch davor. Ich denke schon so ca. 2 Stunden.
Neues gibt es noch nicht zu berichten. Pa und S2 sind oft am Nest anzutreffen. Gestern vor allem Pa, heute auch wieder S2. Im Moment sitzt S2 wieder vor dem Nistkasten in der Dunkeheit.
