Dyfi Osprey Project - 3 HATCHED!!

Here's the worst picture of the year in poor light from a nest swinging around in 40mph winds.

Bob 3 has hatched at 20:53 - this is the first time since 2012 we've had three chicks hatch and it's Glesni's first hat-trick!

Kleine streitende Biester - Das Dyfi Trio...

Aggression behaviour is much more common with three ospreys chicks compared to when there are two in the nest. (Press HD) Things to note:

1. This is completely normal behaviour and injuries are rare within a healthy clutch.

2. Disputes generally last from a few seconds to a few minutes.

3. The parents will let the chicks get on with it - no point intervening.

4. During the last minute of the video - turn the sound up. Can you hear the soft calls made by the fighting chicks?

5. All the Bobs got enough to eat while making this video.
