Es wird vermutet, dass eine Krähe oder ein anderer Rabenvogel die Eier genommen hat. Als die Cam am Samstag abend live ging, war noch ein Ei im Nest. Das Weibchen war noch zeitweise am Nest und hat gebrütet. Seit 11:30 Uhr am Sonntag vormittag wurde sie allerdings nicht mehr gesehen. We believe that on Friday or Saturday of this week the Hobby nest was predated by a Crow or some other Corvid. As we went live on Saturday evening only one egg remained, the female was still visiting the nest and spending short periods of time incubating. However she has not been at the nest since 11.30 AM today (Sunday). The final egg will therefore be cold and will not hatch. This is obviously a great shame. Both the male and female will remain in the area but it is too late in the season for them to attempt another nest.
We have therefore stopped streaming live from the nest.

Not at the moment. On the players above, we are streaming last year's Hobby nest in real-time. So you are watching what happened on this day and this time one year ago. We hope to have other New Forest wildlife on-line shortly. We will of course keep you informed and updated.
Daher wurde auch die Live-Übertragung eingestellt.Zur Zeit werden die Ereignisse vom letzten Jahr in diesem Nest in Echtzeit übertragen, das heißt, wir sehen nun das, was genau vor einem Jahr zur gleichen Uhrzeit zu sehen war. (Die Übertragung neulich, von der hier schon Bilder und Videos gezeigt wurden, war übrigens vom 15.07.2009. So kann man ungefähr ausrechnen, wann der Schlupf des ersten Kükens zu sehen sein wird
