The Storkcenter writes:
Have our storks really left at 8th August in the afternoon?
I have received no other information from the on-duty women from the Stork Information Centre Vetschau so I am assuming that storks have left Vetschau.
This Sunday I was able to observe several pairs of storks during a car ride in Luckauer area and in the Spreewald.
There were, however, all adult animals.
Let's wait for tomorrow and then we draw the balance.

da ich von den diensthabenden Damen keine andere Infos aus dem Storcheninformationszentrum Vetschau bekommen habe gehe ich davon aus, das unsere Störche Vetschau verlassen haben.
Am heutigem Sonntag konnte ich aber bei einer Autofahrt noch mehrere Storchenpaare im Luckauer Gebiet sowie im Spreewald beobachten.
Es waren jedoch alles Alttiere.
Warten wir den morgigen Tag ab und ziehen wir danach Bilanz.

Internet Storks soon to be online again
Because the first storks have already arrived at their breeding grounds, the time is at hand to install and operate
the camera and microphone at the Internet Storks Cico and Luna in Vetschau, Spree Forest. It was decide between NABU
Regional Association Calau and enviaM enviaTel to do the work on March 23rd at about 9:00 am. As long as everything
works out well the happenings at the eyrie may again be followed on the Internet or at the exhibition of the White
Stork Information Centre.
Until the end of March the NABU - White Stork Information Centre and the Tourist Information Office of Vetschau,
Spree Forest is open Mondays to Fridays between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. From the season's opener on April 3rd the
exhibition will be open as usual from Tuesdays to Sundays and on holidays between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Visits
outside of these times or group registrations may be made by telephone to 03433-4100 or by e-mail to
Storchenzentrum-NL@t-online.de.
The NABU Regional Association Calau and its team eagerly await your visit.
